Casual Security Monitor

Amentum seeks a Casual Security Monitor located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The role involves escorting and monitoring visitors on the facility, observing and reporting security and emergency situations, intervening when needed, and ensuring safe site navigation. Responsibilities Escort and monitor visitors on the facility. Observe and report security and emergency situations. Intervene directly only in situations that require minimal action to safeguard property or persons. Escort and monitor operational vendors at all times while on site. Maintain line‑of‑sight with vendors and maintain visitor access logs in accordance with site requirements. Escalate equipment issues identified by vendors immediately to on‑site supervisors. Prevent unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information. Properly cleanse secured areas prior to escorting uncleared personnel into the facility. Follow all company security and safety policies. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license and United States or Naturalized Citizen status. Current government‑issued clearance. Ability to lift 25 pounds (10 kilograms). Ability to stand for 8–12 hours per day. Ability to climb five flights of stairs multiple times within an 8–12 hour work shift. Ability to walk on uneven surfaces and safely navigate an active construction site with debris and other trip hazards.
