Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer-aided design and/or engineering tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles as they relate to company products.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate, and drive consensus across multiple teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack tools.
• Technical ability to design and diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to learn and use workflow and PDM systems.
• Prior work experience in the relevant industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced degree in engineering and/or business.
• Experience with company information systems and processes.
• Familiarity with the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Technology Development Process (ETDP), and/or Enterprise Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP).
• Experience with Design for Six Sigma tools and Design for Manufacturing techniques.
• Financial acumen such as cash flow analysis and return calculations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze assignments and determine engineering specifications for complex problems or projects.
• Produce and evaluate design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance.
• Compile and furnish necessary information to document design solutions for prototypes and adoption.
• Perform engineering calculations, collaborate on analysis, testing, and execute the design.
