Job Title: Building Cleaner

Salary: $16.50

Location: Oakdale

Shift: 1pm to 5pm

Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks including; sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers and drinking fountains.
• Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, dusting and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Light maintenance as directed by the Swept Free supervisor.
• Demonstrate professional conduct at all times. Follow the code of conduct and Agency expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Transport Swept FREE team members to and from TRI location in Westbury to FREE location in Bethpage.

Education, Work Experience, and Competencies

• Experience in janitorial/maintenance industry preferred.
• Must have a valid NYS driver's license.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand for 5 – 6 hours at a time and lift over 50lbs.
