PAY ## **PAY:** According to the Union Contract BOE, Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental & 403b available ## [MLT wage range $33.90- $53.76 ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""} [Medical laboratory Scientist wage range $38.31- $66.35, EOE]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""} SHIFT Full Time Monday-Thursday 10:00 AM -- 8:30 PM with holidays, and call- Shift/days may change Major Duties & Responsibilities [Has a professional responsibility for planning, performing, evaluating and reporting CLIA '88 waived, moderately complex and highly complex testing. This includes pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical function; performing the day-to-day work of MLT/MLS to include performing quality control and quality assurance; instrument maintenance and troubleshooting; monitoring supply inventory; and establishing and/or maintaining communications with health care providers, patients, and other hospital personnel. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""} [ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""} Qualifications [Minimum of an associate's degree, bachelor's degree preferred with training to include the completion of a certified MLT/MLS program. MLT/MLS certification by ASCP, AMT, AABB or equivalent organization required. Minimum of 3 years Generalist experience in a hospital laboratory]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}[]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}[including Blood Banking and phlebotomy preferred. Must be able to work independently.
