Overview
A staffing recruiter acts as the link between employers seeking talent and job seekers. They manage early hiring stages, build talent pipelines, and ensure clients receive qualified candidates efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct intake meetings with clients to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies (job boards, social media, referrals).
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist qualified candidates.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients and manage communication.
- Prepare candidates for client interviews with role and company insights.
- Maintain strong client relationships and manage a portfolio of client accounts.
- Keep detailed applicant records in an ATS and handle administrative hiring tasks (e.g., documentation, timesheet approvals).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to assess candidate qualifications and client needs accurately.
- Experience with sourcing tools, job boards, and ATS platforms.
- Organizational skills for managing multiple roles and clients simultaneously.
- Sales or client management experience is often beneficial in agency settings.
Compensation" $20 - $22/hr
