Impact of the RoleGeneral ProfileWorks with clearly defined methods and tasks that are described in detailWorks under close supervision with little autonomyRequires little or no prior relevant training or work experiencePerforms manual tasks according to established proceduresEssential FunctionsOperates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.Keeps daily assembly production records.Maintains a clean and organized work environment.Required QualificationsRequired education and experience: High School Diploma/GED required and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or ExperienceOther: Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as requiredPreferred QualificationsPreferred education and experience: Vocational/Technical Training DegreeKnowledge, skills & abilities: Assembly. Calibration. Component installation. Soldering. Troubleshooting. Functional testing. Ability to understand and follow directions. Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
