Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 2 years of outpatient experience required License: State licensure as a Physical Therapist required Certifications: BLS AHA required, Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required Must-Have: - Experience in outpatient settings - Knowledge of post-surgical orthopedic care - Experience with lymphedema care (if applicable) - Experience with neuro rehabilitation Description: This position is for a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting. The schedule consists of five 8-hour days, four 9-hour days with a half day, or four 10-hour days. The caseload primarily involves post-surgical orthopedic cases along with general orthopedic cases. The role involves caring for patients with lymphedema and neuro conditions. The typical number of visits per day is 10. Candidates must be able to provide education to patients and their families. Charting will be done using any community hospital system. The environment is supportive with interdisciplinary collaboration.
