Yard Technician - Kyle, TX - STS

The Yard Technician maintains the cleanliness of the yard and keeps rental equipment organized to minimize customer wait time. This position assists customers with equipment check-in, check-out, and basic operational guidance. Essential Functions Prepare equipment for rent by cleaning with a power washer Ensure proper PPE is worn while working in the yard Assist with loading and unloading equipment Provide customers with basic operational training as needed Stage equipment for deliveries Maintain proper yard organization Maintain cleanliness and safety of the yard Perform deliveries and pickups using a pickup truck as needed Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED Strong organizational and communication skills Customer service oriented Valid state-issued Driver’s License Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Supervisory Responsibilities None Work Environment Environment consistent with construction sites, equipment yards, and repair shop settings Regular outdoor exposure to weather conditions Exposure to heavy equipment and active work environments Travel Required None Physical Demands Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds Regular bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching Extended periods of standing and walking Ability to safely operate equipment and vehicles Other Duties Please be aware that this job description provides an overview of the primary duties and responsibilities of the role but may not include every task.
