Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Deliver patient care across various age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Manage common patient diagnoses such as Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure. Utilize specialty equipment, including Rapid Infusors and Arctic Sun, to assist in patient care. Provide care for patients in critical situations and perform SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) duties as needed. Administer required medications and drips, including pressors and anti-arrhythmics. Participate in floating between different units as necessary. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department, with some pediatric experience preferred. Valid and active nursing license in New York, verified through a NURSYS report. Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC are required. Proven experience in travel nursing roles is required. Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly EPIC. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to change. Shift Details This position involves working from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM. Please note that block scheduling cannot be guaranteed. Unit Information Emergency Department consists of 64 beds, including 40 acute care, 6 super track, 2 trauma beds, and 6 psychiatric beds. Two triage beds for initial patient assessments.
