Production Line Operator

About the Role Our client is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Production Line Operators to join their busy facility in Welkom . In this hands-on role, you will operate and maintain machinery to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the production line. You will be responsible for adhering to strict safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess good manual dexterity, and are eager to contribute to a team-focused manufacturing environment in the Free State . Your contribution will be key to meeting production demands and maintaining the high quality of our client's products. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor production machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Monitor product quality and report any defects or deviations to the supervisor immediately. Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to all safety regulations. Accurately record production data, including output, scrap, and downtime. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and troubleshoot minor issues. Requirements Previous experience as a Production Line Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions . Good manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks. Awareness of health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Reliability and a strong work ethic.
