Mktg Comm Specialist - req1743 The Marketing Communications Specialist supports the execution and coordination of integrated marketing initiatives in the US for Canon Medical Systems, USA. This role contributes to trade show marketing, media coordination, sales communications, and campaign execution, while ensuring alignment with brand, regulatory, and business objectives. With a high degree of independence, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across functions. The role provides broad exposure across marketing activities and the opportunity to expand responsibilities as business needs evolve. Responsibilities Trade Show & Event Marketing Coordinate and execute promotional efforts for U.S. trade shows, including development and distribution of marketing assets (e.g., flyers, website banners, social media posts, and digital promotions). Manage trade show related communications to the U.S. sales organization, ensuring clear guidance on participation, expectations, timelines, and available resources. Identify and coordinate trade show specific marketing opportunities, including sponsorships and promotional placements. Trade Media & External Communications Serve as a primary point of contact for trade media inquiries, coordinating timely responses with internal stakeholders. Manage trade media planning activities, including maintaining editorial calendars, buyer's guides, and key deadlines. Coordinate paid media efforts, including vendor interactions, placement requests, and tracking deliverables. Communicate media opportunities to relevant business units and ensure alignment with marketing priorities. Marketing Analytics & Insights Monitor competitor activity and trade media landscape to identify trends in messaging, share of voice, and positioning. Develop and maintain performance reports for trade media and marketing campaigns. Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and media investments. Campaign & Content Support Support execution of global campaigns, including adapting and localizing content for U.S. audiences. Coordinate development of multi-channel marketing assets, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand standards for assigned departments. Brand, Compliance & Operations Ensure all marketing materials align with corporate branding and adhere to regulatory, legal, and quality requirements. Navigate and support internal review and approval processes. Additional Responsibilities Participate in cross-functional projects and support broader marketing initiatives as needed. Adapt to evolving priorities and take on new responsibilities as business needs change. Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and overall marketing effectiveness. Qualifications Required Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently High attention to detail, particularly in regulated or compliance-driven environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Preferred Experience in healthcare, medical imaging, or other regulated industries Familiarity with trade show marketing, media planning, or campaign execution Experience with WRIKE project management tool Core Competencies Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Effective cross-functional collaboration Adaptability and problem-solving Attention to detail and compliance awareness 4 Year Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. 3 years Experience in a marketing environment within MedTech company. 5 years Advertising, Marketing, or Public Relations agency experience at a medical imaging vendor.
