Program Analyst

NEH is an independent grant‑making agency of the government dedicated to supporting research, education, preservation, and public programs in the humanities. NEH is the nation's largest public funder of the humanities, which include history, philosophy, literature, language, ethics, law, archaeology, political theory, comparative religion, anthropology, sociology, and media and cultural studies. To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. At the GS-11 level Qualified candidates must possess: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 level or equivalent experience. Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, for example: Performing qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of nonprofit humanities organizations Providing guidance to state humanities organizations regarding the development of grant applications and fulfilling reporting requirements using online procedures Performing detailed compilation and analysis of financial data to inform oversight and management of humanities organizations Facilitating workflow processes and administering operational procedures to support the activities of the division and humanities organizations Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree LL.M., if related Accountability Attention to Detail Customer Service Decision Making Flexibility Integrity/Honesty Interpersonal Skills Learning Reading Comprehension Reasoning Self-Management Stress Tolerance Teamwork #J-18808-Ljbffr US National Endowment for the Humanities
