Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer – This position supports the production and engineering teams (Mechanical/Electrical/Software) to ensure clients Electro-Mechanical products are made to customer specifications and our teams adhere to standard company practices during the production process. Successful candidate will assure product quality by establishing and enforcing quality procedures; recommending improved processes and techniques. Interact with vendors and investigate root cause for non-conformance. Duties Confirm quality requirements by reviewing blueprints, drawings, product and customer specifications, manuals, and process procedures. Evaluate product production by establishing quality protocols; auditing sampling techniques; analyzing samples. Approve product production by resolving acceptance questions. Improve product processing by studying quality results trends; identifying causes of defects; initiating actions to improve results; communicating changes to affected departments. Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Interface directly with Suppliers to ensure adherence to specifications, prints for material, tolerance, finish, delivery. Interface directly with customers to communicate schedule, conformance, and delivery from the Quality Perspective. Education BSME or EE or IE with demonstrated experience as a QE in a manufacturing environment.
