You step onto the floor, run your pre‑shift inspection, and take command of a stand‑up reach truck to keep materials flowing safely and on time. That’s a night in the life at Prysmian—global leader in energy and digital connectivity solutions with 9,000 teammates in North America and 35,000 worldwide.Where You’ll WorkLocation: 910 Elm St, Mckinney, Tx, 75069Schedule: 6PM - 6AMStarting Pay: $20/hr base pay + $2/hr night shift differentialOvertime opportunities available at time-and-a-half.What You’ll Do Each NightOperate a stand‑up reach forklift to move, stage, and stack materials, reels, and pallets to designated locations with precision.Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑operation equipment checks and flag routine maintenance needs.Build safe, stable stacks of empty pallets/reels and maintain clear aisles.Follow OSHA safety policies, practices, and procedures; report any unsafe acts or conditions to your supervisor and/or safety team.Execute tasks per supervisor direction and adapt to additional duties as production needs evolve.Demonstrate consistent, reliable attendance.*MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRIVEN FORKLIFT EXAM*Knowledge, Skills & Abilities1+ year of stand‑up reach forklift experience (required) with comfort moving large, heavy loads.Proven ability to safely move full and empty pallets in active production areas.Able to identify when routine forklift maintenance may be needed.Reliable attendance and a team‑first mindset.Physical & Environmental ExpectationsLoud production environment with exposure to extreme temperatures; some tasks may occur outdoors.Frequent repetitive movement including kneeling, crouching, stooping; regular use of hands to handle tools and controls.Lift up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting, and/or standing.What You KnowDistribution operations experience.Current forklift license/certification.Ability to meet all physical requirements.High School diploma or GED.Tools & Tech You’ll UseRF scanners and scan tools.Stand‑up reach forklifts (Toyota, Raymond, Crown) and other forklifts (Raymond, Crown).Benefits That Back YouComprehensive Benefit Package including Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance. 401K Savings Plan with Company Matching Contributions, Paid Holidays and Vacation.About PrysmianWe design and manufacture innovative, sustainable cable systems—across underground, submarine, and medium‑to‑low voltage—for power transmission/distribution and digital connectivity.
