As a premier sports and fitness center located in Bee Cave, we are in search of knowledgeable and committed Basketball Coaches who are enthusiastic about working with youth recreational players in camps, clinics, camps, and more! What you’ll do: Leading youth camps and clinics for ages 3 to 14 Greeting and welcoming participants, parents, and guests Ensuring training sessions are high energy, fun, safe, and creating a positive overall experience for participants Some collaboration for the planning of sessions Assisting with organizing, setting up, and cleaning up before and after programs Participating in staff meetings And more… What Makes You a Great Fit An enthusiastic, energetic, and positive personality! At least two years of youth sports coaching experience, or comparable experience working with children in a school or childcare setting, preferably with ages 3–8 Knowledge of basketball, including technical aspects Experience organizing training sessions for children Professional demeanor and presentation The ability to multitask and work well under pressure Excellent verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to listen and respond appropriately to children and adults both in person and in electronic communication A strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detail Availability to coach clinics on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, with typical hours of 4 to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturdays Availability to coach camps on select out-of-school days between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. What You'll Get As a Member Of Our Team Competitive pay based on experience at $18+/hour A complimentary membership to HCI Sports & Fitness A flexible part-time schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr HCI Sports & Fitness
