Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses and physicians, including administering medications, wound care, and performing vital signs

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, as well as providing emotional support to our patients

• Record accurate and thorough medical information in patient charts and maintain confidentiality of patient information

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care

• Participate in patient education and discharge planning, promoting continuity of care and patient empowerment

• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing team, including answering call lights and responding to patient needs

Requirements:

• Active LPN license in the state of Florida

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Current CPR certification

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
