Our commitment to excellence extends from our classic recipes to our modern innovations, ensuring that each piece of Malley's Chocolate is a moment of pure indulgence.Job Description: As a General Warehouse Employee (including order pickers, receiver, warehouse), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility and the timely delivery of our products to our stores. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about contributing to the production and distribution of quality confectionery products.Responsibilities:Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products, and accurately record their arrival (receiving employee).Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of goods received against purchase orders and packing slips (receiving employee).Safely and efficiently unload delivery trucks and transport goods to designated storage areas within the warehouse (receiving employee).Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access to products.Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment according to customer specifications and shipping deadlines.Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (requires certification), pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe and responsible manner.Effective use of RF guns to move inventory in and out of proper location bins to maintain inventory accuracy.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the warehouse facility, including sweeping and scrubbing floors, removing debris, and disposing of waste materials.Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve departmental goals and objectives.Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality control, and sanitation standards at all times.Requirements/ Qualifications:Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inventory-related tasks.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., GMPs, HACCP, ODA, OSHA – Training will be provided).Must have a basic understanding of English verbal and written comprehension skills.Must be able to push, pull, carry, and lift to 50 pounds.Physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to work in a variety of environments, including hot, cold, and noisy conditions.Other duties as assigned by Management #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch Corp.
