Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the daily execution of the complete dining room guest experience, from initial welcome through the conclusion of service
• Ensure every interaction reflects approved Polaris Lounge hospitality standards, emphasizing warmth, attentiveness, professionalism, discretion, and genuine guest engagement
• Maintain a visible presence on the dining room floor, proactively engaging guests, supporting employees, and identifying opportunities to improve service
• Oversee service sequencing, menu presentation, order-taking, beverage coordination, food delivery, check-backs, and closing interactions, as applicable
• Ensure guests receive accurate and timely information regarding menu availability, dining expectations, and service delays
• Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity when serving an international guest population
• Monitor the dining room environment, including cleanliness, table presentation, ambiance, and overall readiness
• Communicate accurate and realistic estimated wait times, particularly during peak departure periods
• Establish and maintain clear table-status procedures, including occupied, awaiting service, dining, departed, and ready for seating
• Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, reset, and returned to service promptly without compromising guest comfort
• Identify guests with limited time before departure and coordinate available expedited dining options with the kitchen
• Supervise, support, and coach assigned front-of-house employees, including hosts, servers, food runners, lounge attendants
• Deliver timely feedback, recognize exemplary hospitality behaviors, and address performance gaps through documented coaching
• Support effective workforce planning and coverage across operating periods
• Ensure dining room operations comply with applicable food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, airport security, and client requirements
• Monitor assigned guest experience and operational performance metrics against approved standards
• Review guest feedback, client audit results, service observations, and recurring guest concerns
• Identify root causes of service delays, inconsistent execution, and other performance gaps
• Monitor front-of-house labor deployment and productivity, maintaining appropriate staffing levels in alignment with operating demand
• Participate in recurring operating reviews, service audits, and management meetings

Preferred Qualifications
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent hospitality experience will be considered
• 3 or more years of progressive experience in full-service restaurant, fine dining, luxury hotel, premium airport lounge, or comparable hospitality operations preferred
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a high-volume, guest-facing hospitality environment preferred
• Experience managing dining room service, and coordination with culinary operations
• Experience with luxury hospitality standards or premium guest experiences strongly preferred
• Airport lounge or airline hospitality experience is an advantage, but not required
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Proficiency with standard business applications, including Microsoft Office; familiarity with POS, scheduling, waitlist, and operational reporting tools preferred
• Flexibility to work during peak operational periods, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to obtain and maintain required airport security credentials and comply with applicable airport access requirements
• Ability to complete required food safety, workplace safety, and client-specific training
