Medical Laboratory Technician

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) prepares patient specimens as required for laboratory testing. As an MLT, you will:

• Perform laboratory testing and monitor test results to assure test quality and validity.
• Communicate results in a timely manner, especially those that may be life threatening to the patient.
• Maintain properly documented records of activities.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School plus 2 years or more of formal training/education or higher (Specify: Medical Laboratory Technician)

• Less than 1 year of experience is required.

Preferred:

• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred

Other Information:

• 36 hours per week
• Monday - Thursday (8 am - 5 pm)
• Friday (8 am - 12 noon)
