Registered Nurse (RN) - Peds ER

Pediatric Pacu Rn - Pediatric

Minimum 1 year RN experience required. Pediatric PACU experience required. Travel experience required. PALS certification required. BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred. Experience with pediatric populations and pediatric perioperative protocols expected. Proficiency in Epic for charting.

Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients, ensuring a safe recovery environment. Conduct thorough assessments of patients in the PACU and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team. Administer medications and manage pain control in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patients for any signs of complications or adverse reactions and respond accordingly. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery expectations.

Must have a vehicle for this assignment. RTO policy: Up to 6 days total (or 3 consecutive days) auto-approved; additional RTO requires approval. Parking: No fee. Scrubs: Any color (OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided). Orientation: Approximately 30 hours required.
