Press Operator (1st Shift)

Location: Greeneville, TN

Schedule: Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

Pay: $17.00 per hour

We are seeking a dependable Press Operator to join our manufacturing team on 1st shift. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity in a smaller warehouse environment, ideal for candidates with previous press operation experience or a strong machining background. Job Responsibilities

• Machine setup, operation, and changeovers.
• Load raw materials into the press and remove finished products.
• Monitor machine performance and notify the operator or supervisor of any issues.
• Inspect parts for quality and ensure products meet specifications.
• Measure and verify dimensions using basic measuring tools as needed.
• Package, label, and stage finished products for the next process.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.
• Assist with routine machine cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform other production and manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous press operation experience or a strong machining background is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn production processes.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
• Must be available to work occasional Saturdays as needed to meet production demands.
