Job Summary Provides advanced coordination and oversight of transportation and logistics activities to ensure reliable, cost-effective delivery of goods. Handles shipment scheduling, carrier communication, and issue resolution while supporting compliance and performance tracking. Applies experience and judgment to address complex transportation challenges and supports continuous improvement efforts across logistics operations. Key Responsibilities Performs daily transportation coordination activities, including complex scheduling, routing, and shipment prioritization. Serves as a point of contact for carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to resolve escalated transportation issues. Monitors transportation performance, proactively addressing delays, capacity constraints, and service disruptions. Maintains accurate and compliant transportation documentation, logs, and records. Contributes to preparation of transportation performance and cost reports to support operational decision-making. Supports compliance with DOT regulations and internal transportation policies, identifying and addressing risks as needed. Contributes to process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost control, and service reliability. Education Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent experience required. Work Experience 3–5 years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics operations, or supply chain support required. Experience working directly with freight carriers, routing, and shipping documentation required. Certifications And Licenses None required.
