About the Role

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Dependable and punctual
• Dependable transportation
• Provide personal tools/list available on request
• 2 years minimum experience in petro/chemical industry
• Ability to work in adverse/inclement weather conditions
• Ability to troubleshoot and make good decisions to fix problems
• Ability to read a tape measure and work with precision measuring instruments

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Maintenance/repairs/troubleshooting and installation on process plant equipment
• Maintenance, repair and troubleshooting on rotary screw air compressors
• Removal and installation of process valves
• Maintenance, repair and troubleshooting on steam boilers and auxiliary equipment
• Metal fabrication skills required
• Proficiency in installation and fabrication of process piping systems
• Ability to interpret P&ID drawings
• Electricity skills are a plus
• Cleaning, painting and labor work when instructed
• Additional work related to buildings and ground maintenance
• Local travel required
