Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) position is available on the Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor in Louisville, Kentucky. The role involves providing specialized inpatient rehabilitation care for adult patients, including those recovering from stroke, amputation, and orthopedic surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their active RN license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Louisville, Kentucky
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor
• Shift: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid active RN license, ADN or higher degree in nursing, 1-2 years of hospital experience, critical thinking skills, and hospital experience is a must
• Preferred Qualifications: Rehabilitation experience, experience with patients recovering from stroke, amputee, or orthopedic injuries
• Float: Not applicable
• Additional Information:
  • Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 7 patients, 1 LPN to 10 patients, 1 technician (CNA) to 12 patients
  • Equipment available onsite: EKG machine, bladder scanner
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in use: Cerner
  • Scrub Color: Royal blue scrubs
  • First Report Time: As scheduled, ask for Christina Stiwinter upon arrival
  • Parking: Park on the outer perimeter of the building, front spaces are designated for patients and families
