This role performs timely repairs and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime, maximize equipment longevity, and ensure a comfortable environment for guests and staff. The Engineer is knowledgeable in the operation, repair, and installation of water heaters, pumps, plumbing, electrical systems, and other mechanical components, adhering to all local, state, and NEC standards./ph3How You Will Create the Extraordinary/h3ulliPerform necessary repairs to maintain smooth property operations./liliRespond promptly and effectively to all guest complaints to prevent inconvenience or discomfort./liliDevelop thorough knowledge of operating, maintaining, and repairing water heaters, pumps, plumbing, and related systems./liliComplete repairs, maintenance, and part replacements according to the preventative maintenance schedule./liliAccurately record all maintenance activities and equipment data./liliContinuously evaluate preventative maintenance plans to maximize equipment longevity, minimize downtime, and ensure efficient operation per manufacturer recommendations./liliMaintain familiarity with all applicable Local, State, and NEC codes and standards./liliInstall new equipment and systems as directed./liliPerform weekly, monthly, semi?annual, and annual preventative maintenance tasks./liliTrain less?experienced personnel in electrical equipment and building systems./liliMaintain tools, equipment, and work areas in proper working condition./liliAdhere strictly to all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures./liliComplete all additional tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager or authorized supervisors./liliBuild positive working relationships with internal guests through clear communication and timely job completion./liliMaintain minimal absenteeism and tardiness./liliCommunicate and coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as required./liliPrepare Bills of Materials and ensure all necessary parts, tools, and equipment are ready before beginning tasks./liliDemonstrate strong understanding of standard operating procedures and organizational policies./liliExhibit leadership qualities and willingness to take on leadership roles when needed./liliShow initiative in solving problems while seeking supervisory guidance when appropriate./liliMake sound decisions that support the best interests of the organization and its guests./liliPerform work with an understanding of the organizations mission and the Engineering departments critical role./liliDemonstrate a positive team?oriented work ethic./liliComplete all work accurately, efficiently, and on time./li/ulh3What You Will Need/h3ulliJourneyman Engineer with broad proficiency across multiple engineering disciplines including:/liliSkilled in plumbing, including soft soldering, Sil?Phos brazing, pipe threading, system layout, fabrication, and steam/condensate systems./liliExperienced in welding: steel, stainless steel, and aluminum./liliKnowledgeable in low? and high?voltage electrical systems, conduit installation, and system troubleshooting./liliProficient in refrigeration systems (low, medium, and high temperature), including central and remote setups./liliStrong background in central plant operations, including chillers, pumps, air compressors, and control systems./liliExperienced in boiler plant operations for steam and hot?water production, as well as pumps and related controls./liliSkilled in maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment./liliWorking knowledge of major kitchen equipment brands: Stero, Garland, Cleveland, Gore, Hobart, Cutler, and Blodgett./li/ulpstrongADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/pulliCompletion and proof of technical training (QE-Qualified Employee), basic plumbing knowledge, boiler operator license, Level 3 or 4, or equivalent experience, basic electricity./lili5 years experience in the hotel/casino industry/li/ulh3About Us/h3pThe Cromwell is the Strips first and only, stand-alone boutique hotel and casino.
