As a traveling OR RN, you'll have the chance to expand your resume by working across a spectrum of surgical specialties, including orthopedics, neuro, robotics, and total joints. Schedule/Hours:

• Three twelve-hour shifts (6:30AM - 7:00PM; weekends preferred if possible)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Call: On-call shifts required, typically 5-6 per four weeks plus approximately one weekend shift.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered Alaska RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Prior experience in a circulating role in the OR
• Expertise in ortho, total joints, neuro, and robotics procedures
• Confidence working with Epic EMR
• Preferred: CNOR certification, experience as scrub nurse

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a patient advocate while acting as primary circulator and resource for the sterile field in an 11-OR facility
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team, contributing to positive patient outcomes
• Provide intraoperative care for a variety of cases, with 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
