Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: Competitive pay, along with an annual performance bonus and regular salary increments.

Employment Requirements

• Must possess a Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent qualification in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
• Licensure: Hold a full and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory, maintaining an active status.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; non-citizens may only be considered if qualified citizens cannot be recruited, in line with VA policy.
• Subject to a background and security investigation.

*Note: Board certification is required to qualify for the additional 5 days off for CME.

**EDRP Eligibility: This position qualifies for the Education Debt Reduction Program, which provides student loan reimbursement. Specific eligibility criteria must be met according to VHA policy, and applications must be submitted within four months of starting. Approval, award amounts (up to $200,000), and eligibility periods (ranging from one to five years) will be determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after a thorough review of the application. Previous participants are not eligible to reapply for this incentive.
