Nursing Home Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Nursing Home Litigation Attorney to join its practice in Atlanta, Georgia. The attorney will manage a complex caseload involving pre-litigation, litigation, trial preparation, and trial proceedings. Duties Handle pre-litigation and litigation cases daily. Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions. Guide clients through the case process. Interact with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits. Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances. Requirements Law degree from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the GA State Bar Association. Minimum of 2 years of personal injury experience, preferably in medical malpractice or nursing home matters. Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation and litigation cases. Excellent client service and communication skills. Self-starter driven by long-term career goals. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active membership with the GA State Bar Association. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
