Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Overview Under the supervision of a Department Director or assigned delegate, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst provides initial and ongoing supervision to behavioral staff working with children and adolescents diagnosed with severe behavioral disorders within the Severe Behavior Department. This position supervises a caseload of patients, conducts assessments, designs and implements treatment plans, monitors patient progress toward goals, and provides caregiver training. The BCE will also provide direct supervision with daily positive and constructive feedback. The role assists in directing the treatment team in crisis response procedures to effectively de-escalate patients engaging in aggressive and destructive behavior. The position also assists with hiring and training new behavioral staff. Provide direct supervision while delivering positive and constructive feedback daily. Assist in directing the treatment team in crisis response procedures to de-escalate patients displaying aggression or destructive behavior. Assist with hiring and training new behavioral staff. Work in potentially moderate- to high-risk care situations that could result in bodily harm to staff; you may encounter property destruction, emotional outbursts, verbal insults, and physical aggression.
