Cost Control Engineer

A large building automation company is hiring a Cost Control Engineer for an onsite fulltime position. This company is the leading provider of energy management services, automated control systems, critical airflow solutions, and building systems integration. If you are interested and a fit, Location: Onsite in New Albany, OH Duration: Full Time Entry Level Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 (Total compensation vary based on years of applicable experience) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: (Day to Day) Collaborating with multiple Project Managers to develop a detailed, cost-effective budget for the project. Performing cost analysis and spend tracking to monitor project costs, revenues, and forecast final financial outcomes. Performing accounting duties throughout the project, such as preparing/reviewing invoices, estimating cash flow, and signing off on purchase orders. Analyzing all transactions and working unforeseen costs into the budget. Keeping a record of all project finances for internal/external auditing. Preparing cost analyses by interpreting projects' financial data and information. Reporting any financial risks and budgetary discrepancies to management for review. Researching market trends and projecting construction-related price increases/decreases. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Tracking and analyzing hyperinflation on materials. Managing Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Fixed-Price Contract billings.
