As an unarmed Security Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.11 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, airport location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned airport areas, terminal access points, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other designated areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized activity or suspicious conditions to site leadership and/or appropriate authorities. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: This is primarily a driving post. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
