Cyber Security Analyst/Engineer

Salary: $52,822 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong command of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPsec VPNs, Ethernet, and BGP/OSPF routing protocols.
• Practical experience with cybersecurity platforms such as Splunk, SolarWinds, Fiddler, Burp Suite, Nmap, and PRTG for detection and response.
• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN support, network deployment, and administration of Cisco routers and switches.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and CentOS, and macOS; Bash or PowerShell scripting experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SSL/TLS encryption, PKI infrastructure, and LDAP/Active Directory for identity and access management.
• Experience in vulnerability analysis and assessment using tools such as Nmap or Nessus, along with threat intelligence review.
• Understanding of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT or DIACAP and applying security controls aligned with ISO 27002/ISO 27000 standards.
• Possession of, or eligibility for, one of the listed certifications: CompTIA Security+, CAP, CISSP, GCIH, CASP, CISA, or GCED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance.
