Project Manager (Full Time)
Department: All Openings, Engineering
Coordinate with Management and other Stakeholders to implement new or modified products from design concept to production implementation. This includes, but is not limited to, the development and maintenance of requirements documents, schedules, manpower resource requirements and loading charts, budgets, risk, issues, opportunities, and other such management tools for the execution of assigned projects.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within aircraft design & manufacturing. Relies on the instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Essential Job Functions
• Initiate, plan, execute, control and close assigned projects
• Conduct meetings and group decision making process
• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project team
• Keep Management and others informed about project status and issues
• Create program presentations & briefings
• Develop and maintain project governing documents;

• Create and maintain integrated project schedules including coordination of resources
• Maintains oversight of assigned projects to ensure they remain within scope, schedule and budget parameters
• Track and report cost and schedule performance
• Interface with vendors, ensuring necessary procurement of parts and materials for specific projects
• Prepares technical reports
• Administer project databases
• Perform other related duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. May be required to train and assist other employees, effectively partnering and collaborating on department and cross-functional organizational initiatives.

Education and Experience
Basic:
• BA/BS in business/STEM field or equivalent
• 2-3 years of project management/coordination experience
Preferred:
• Degree in an Engineering or Business with Aeronautical/Aerospace discipline
General knowledge and skills associated with cross functional coordination in areas of design engineering, methodization, manufacturing planning, production control, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, aircraft fabrication and assembly and quality management, testing and certification functions.
Requires comprehensive knowledge of Windows based computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

Requires moderate physical effort consisting of occasionally lifting and/or moving light to moderately heavy weight material up to 35 lbs.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to both office and plant environments. May be exposed to odors, chemical agents, dust, fumes, gases, sharp objects, hazardous or moving equipment, wet slippery floors, and extremes in temperature and humidity.
• Interacts regularly with various staff and employees, and occasionally with vendors, suppliers, community members and regulatory agency representatives.
• Travel and overtime are required when necessary.

The employee must adhere to all said policies and procedures while supporting the goals and objectives of the organization and recognize the Company's need to achieve its business objective.
