Shifts include: 7A-7:30P, 7P-7:30A, 1P-1:30A, and 3P-3:30A

Job Description

Join a dedicated team in a fast-paced Pediatric Emergency department. Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients and support their families in a welcoming environment. Ensure positive healing experiences through family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a pediatric emergency setting with a focus on high-quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and child-life specialists.
• Manage emergency cases while adhering to hospital protocols and policies.
• Perform necessary procedures, including IVs and medication reconciliation.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and provide charge nurse responsibilities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (No temporary licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC.
• Experience with pediatric emergency services is essential.
