Mechanic Position

Craft Beer Guild Dist. of NY is seeking a highly-motivated individual with a "Can do" attitude to fill our Mechanic position. The objective of the Mechanic is to ensure that all vehicles and warehouse equipment are maintained in proper working order.

Hours: Mon – Friday 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Overtime as required. Hours are flexible depending on work volume.

Pay Range: The starting pay range for this position is $27 - $31 per hour.

What you'll be doing:

• Repair trucks, forklifts, cars, and other company machinery as required
• Provide for the general maintenance requirements of the plant as necessary
• Inspect all vehicles to ensure that the vehicles meet state safety requirements
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles to minimize vehicle downtime
• Maintain mechanical certifications as required
• Operations of the following equipment used:
• Electric and hydraulic tools
• Forklift
• Pallet Jacks
• Light truck and/or automobile

What we are looking for:

• High School Diploma
• Previous mechanical experience
• Prepare written repair orders daily
• Some computer skills
