Title Experienced Dental Assistant Job Description Self pay and PPO specialist office is looking for an experienced and friendly dental assistant to join our team! WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE LONG TERM. We are flexible with schedule; closed Sunday and Thursday. Ideal candidate can work at least 3 days a week (some Saturdays may be needed.) Duties included, but not limited to: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take digital x-rays and panoramic -Knowledge of various burs and procedures, such as: implants, root canals, crowns, fillings and dentures. - Provide patient education on post-operative care - Experience with dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments with Open Dental is a huge plus. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION Salary Range part-time $22 - $28 per hour Salary is dependent on experience. Re-evaluation of pay can be done after a 3 month work period. Shift & Schedule Weekday hours are typically 9:00am to 5:00pm Saturdays 9:00am to 3:00pm Requirements Cosmetic Dentistry Driver’s license Experienced Dental Assistant (3+ years) General Dentistry Implant Dentistry Open Dental X-ray / Radiography Certification Specialty (prosthodontist) office that delivers prosthetic care, as well as: oral surgery, root canals, general dentistry (fillings). Ideal candidate with be well versed in setting up and assisting procedures such as crowns, dentures, implants, root canals, fillings. Knowledge and familiarity with various burs and instruments. Proficient in taking digital x-rays is a must. Able to deliver post op instructions clearly to patients. Multi-tasker that works efficiently and with purpose.
