About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - Client Fetal Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 2 Years Minimum Experience Required License: Acceptable if pending Certifications: ARDMS OB/GYN BLS Must-Have: Experience in High-Risk OB and Obstetrics Familiarity with GE equipment General ultrasound skills in abdominal aorta and appendix OB/GYN skills for 1st-3rd trimester, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, and placenta previa Neonatal skills focusing on head and heart Additional skills in outpatient/MCA, UA dopplers, viewpoint, and fetal echo Description: The role involves performing perinatal scanning for high-risk pregnancies. Experience in MFM scanning is required. Candidates should be able to conduct detailed anatomies and growth scans, including BPP, dopplers, NT, TV, and fetal echo (the latter is a plus but not mandatory). The patient diagnoses include chronic hypertension, gestational diabetes mellitus, growth restriction, and other abnormalities. All candidates must be available for training without any other commitments. Missing any portion of training could result in a delayed or canceled start. No call, float, or weekend work is required. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to accommodate scheduling changes. The average daily census is 50 with 8 rooms available. The unit focuses on detailed anatomies for various stages of pregnancy. The job supports adolescents and adults. Candidates must follow established protocols and safety standards in all procedures.
