HVAC Facilities Technician

Base pay range $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr Duration : 06 Months (Possibility of extension/conversion based on performance and budget) Client : One of the largest Aerospace and Defense companies in the US Overview We are looking for a Facilities Support Technician who provides Preventative & Reactive maintenance on facilities equipment and grounds. Duties Limited Preventative & Reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Routine Inspections of Fire Safety Systems. Routing Inspections of Facility and Grounds. Basic Carpentry and maintenance of facility physical structure. Coordinating with vendors on contracted work. Basic trouble shooting/repairs on Electrical, Plumbing, walls & floors. Qualifications Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience. Must be capable of developing job knowledge/skills. Preferred Additional Skills Experience with using a facility and equipment CMMS (e.g. Faciliworks) OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and/or other related education or professional credentials a plus. HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical certifications a plus.
