As part of one of our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams, you'll provide compassionate, community-based care that helps individuals experiencing serious mental illness achieve stability and wellness. In this role, you'll combine your clinical expertise with a whole-person, recovery-focused approach—offering both direct nursing care and support that empowers clients to thrive in their own communities.

Key responsibilities include partnering with clients and the ACT team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans; administering and managing medications under the direction of the team psychiatrist; providing health assessments, education, and coaching on medication use, mental illness, and co-occurring conditions; conducting or assisting with comprehensive client assessments and documentation; supporting clients in accessing and understanding medical appointments and treatment recommendations; participating in daily and weekly team meetings, consultations, and supervision; providing on-call crisis intervention and support during evenings, nights, or weekends as scheduled; maintaining compliance with all medication, safety, and infection control protocols; and providing services in community-based settings and assisting with client transportation as needed.

Requirements, skills, knowledge, and expertise include a high school/GED, experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting preferred, a valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required, RN, licensed in Missouri or GPN/GN, passing the MO NCLEX within 90 days of graduation required.
