Positive Behavior Support Specialist (Tacoma and Lynnwood) Full Time Professional – Lynnwood, WA. Salary: $22.95 to $23.95 per hour. Job Summary The Positive Behavior Support Specialist designs, develops and delivers Positive Behavior Support Plans for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The role includes building person-centered plans that improve clients’ quality of life by modifying the conditions that lead to target behaviors, and training staff to support these clients. Responsibilities Design and develop individualized Positive Behavior Support Plans. Implement plans and provide direct support to clients. Train staff and peers on support strategies and skill development. Collect and analyze data to inform plan adjustments. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 5 years of related experience. Must hold Long Term Care Worker (75hr) certification prior to hire. Clear criminal history and pass background check. Clear driving record. Licensing and Certifications Have or obtain a CPR/First Aid license within 30 days of hire. Current driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in social services or a closely allied field. Experience working with individuals with dual diagnoses and intellectual disabilities.
