The Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. The role requires technical proficiency and adherence to clinical standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate and optimize ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality imaging.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Interpret and analyze ultrasound images to identify abnormalities or concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and images in patient records.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards.
- Current CA license as a Sonographer or Ultrasound Technologist.
- Registered with RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or equivalent credential.
- At least 2 years of experience in general ultrasound procedures.
- Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and specialized imaging techniques.
- Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
