Learn more about our amazing facility at Position Summary: Provide emergency medical service for Rocky Top Sports World, on behalf of LeConte Medical Center. Ideal candidate possesses the experience, and the decision-making and clinical skills to make treatment assessments based on quick injury evaluation. Responsibilities Works with Athletic Trainer to provide emergency medical services for Rocky Top Sports World as part of LeConte Sports Medicine’s community outreach program. Demonstrates and executes the required skills and knowledge by responding to emergency medical situations, rendering an analysis on the situation/injury, and administering emergency medical care. Document all related activities/treatment by completing predetermined forms/reports, and maintaining all information in a confidential manner. Must display an ability to interpret written, oral and diagnostic form instructions and the ability to use good judgment and to remain calm in high stress situations. Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing Minimum Experience: One (1) I year of EMS experience required.
