Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary Services following approved protocols by medical staff and departmental policies. This role includes offering diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Perform insertion of arterial lines and intubations.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and stress tests for cardiac and pulmonary assessments.
• Obtain and analyze blood gases.

Schedule

This is a 36-hour per week position with a shift from 07:00 to 19:00.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience, including intubation experience.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification required.
• Ohio RT License is mandatory.
• ACLS & BLS certifications required, must be through the American Heart Association.
