Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Laveen, AZ

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to dysrhythmias
• Care for post-surgical patients including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and similar procedures
• Rotate weekend shifts in coordination with core staff
• Participate in holiday scheduling on an A or B rotation
• Float to a sister facility as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam with a score of 80% or higher within two attempts prior to contract start
• Must pass a Simulation Lab competency assessment on Day 1 of orientation
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing setting
• Familiarity with post-surgical patient populations
