About the Position

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: ARMRIT, ARRT MR Certifications: BLS, either specialty certification accepted Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic - Travel experience required - Preferred experience in community hospitals, LTAC, and trauma levels Description: Local candidates are preferred. Schedule consists of Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. On-call shift for one weekend each month is required. Patient age groups served include neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily responsibilities will include performing various types of MRI scans. The role requires knowledge in handling specialized equipment and safety protocols. Interdisciplinary support includes collaboration with multiple healthcare teams. Special procedures will involve cardiac MR scans and MR elastography. Candidates will be expected to prepare and administer contrast media as necessary. Experience with imaging post-processing and radiation safety is essential. Support for trauma patients and those pre and post-transplant is part of the role.
