# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 28, 2026 **Location:** Conroe, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 6-week assignment, 48 hours per week; every other weekend required; patient ratio 1:4**Highlights:** - Rapid response assignment with start date 5-7 days from offer acceptance- 30-bed Emergency Department with additional hallway capacity serving a busy patient population- Collaborative team environment with approximately 77 staff members including RNs, CNs, paramedics, and LVNs- Meditech EMR system with modern equipment including Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, and BiPAP/CPAP- Comprehensive emergency procedures including moderate sedation, cardiac monitoring, NIH protocols, and TNK administration- No floating required; consistent assignment within Emergency Department**Requirements:** - Active Texas RN license or compact state license- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (must be included in submission packet)- Emergency Department experience strongly preferred- ENPC certification preferred- Strong clinical skills in IV therapy, blood draws, cardiac monitoring, and moderate sedation- Compassionate, empathetic approach with excellent teamwork abilities**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This rapid response Emergency Department position offers the chance to join a well-staffed team in a dynamic acute care environment.
