TravSource is seeking a travel nurse RN Inpatient PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Salem, Virginia.

Must-Have Experience

? PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience
? Knowledge of cardiac rhythms/telemetry interpretation
? Experience caring for surgical patients
? Chest tube management
? Epidural management
? Experience with cardiac drips (Nitroglycerin, Cardizem, Amiodarone preferred)
? Post-cardiac cath patients
? Post-op cardiac/open heart patients preferred

Required Certifications

? BLS
? ACLS

Unit Details

• 15-bed Progressive Care Unit
• Patient Ratio: 4-5:1
• EMR: Meditech
• 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 36 Guaranteed Hours
• 13-Week Contract
• Every other weekend (or 4 weekend shifts per schedule)

Floating Requirements

Must be willing to float to:

• ICU (for PCU-level patients)
• Other PCU units
• Med-Surg units (up to 5 patients)

? Strong time management skills in a high-turnover environment
