Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse (RN) position in a general medical observation unit. The role involves providing care for patients with conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, infections, and urinary tract infections. The facility requires candidates to be comfortable with Bi-Pap and high flow oxygen therapy. This position offers 12-hour day shifts on a 36 or 48-hour contract basis.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); at least 2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical nursing; eligible to work in the specified location with verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility; graduation from an accredited nursing program; valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Bi-Pap and high flow oxygen therapy.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have a verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility. A cover sheet is required for application submission.
