Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm)

Job Description

At General Formulations, our Maintenance Technicians are the people who keep production alive. When equipment goes down, you’re the calm in the chaos. When something needs built, fixed, diagnosed, or improved, you’re the one everyone counts on.

We’re looking for someone mechanically minded, dependable, and ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you like solving problems, working with your hands, and never having the exact same day twice you’ll probably fit right in here.

What You’ll Do

Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems
Perform preventative maintenance to keep operations running efficiently
Inspect machinery and identify issues after they become major problems
Repair or replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Assist with electrical troubleshooting and equipment diagnostics
Respond quickly to maintenance requests and unexpected downtime situations
Work alongside production and leadership teams on continuous improvement projects
Maintain maintenance records through our CMMS system
Follow all safety procedures and company policies

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous maintenance, manufacturing, industrial, or facilities experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
PLC experience is a major plus
Someone dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Ability to work flexible hours or stay late during emergency situations
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in an active manufacturing environment
