Digital Media Associate

Hours and Location: This is a full-time position at Becket’s office in Washington, DC. No remote applicants will be considered. The Becket Fund is looking for a driven, hardworking individual who is passionate about religious liberty and seeking to gain professional experience in the field ofcommunicationsand digital marketing. Thedigital media associate will be immersed in the day-to-day life of a non-profit and exposed to all aspects ofcommunications, including messaging, strategy, social media marketing, and website content creation. We are looking for commitment to the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty’s mission and an interest in building and engaging with online audiences. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Develop and maintain a social media strategy aligned with organizational goals Plan and create social media content around key filings, events, and court decisions Draft social media and email newsletter copy from institutional and attorney voices Work with lawyers to communicate complex legal issues Track performance across social platforms Monitor news media daily and create summaries for staff and clients An ideal applicant will have at least 2 yearsof professional experience in social media planning and management, as well as experience creating compelling content to expand a social media footprint, including using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud. Photography skills are a bonus. There may be occasional travel opportunities for this role.
